Production Control PlannerThe Production Control Planner is responsible for coordinating daily production activities to ensure materials, work orders, and schedules are executed efficiently. This role supports on-time delivery by managing work order release, tracking production progress, resolving shortages, and maintaining accurate system data.• Release, schedule, and manage work orders in alignment with the master production schedule.• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Warehouse to ensure material availability and readiness for manufacturing.• Monitor WIP (work-in-process) and production progress; identify delays, bottlenecks, or shortages and escalate as needed.• Track and prioritize orders to support on-time delivery, including expedites and schedule adjustments.• Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems, including work order status, lead times, and inventory transactions.• Communicate daily production status, risks, and recovery plans to cross-functional teams.• Support inventory control by monitoring shortages, excess, and slow-moving materials.• Assist in capacity coordination by highlighting constraints and supporting scheduling adjustments.• Prepare and maintain reports on production performance, WIP status, and delivery metrics.• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production flow, data accuracy, and process efficiency.• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).• 2–4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.• Basic understanding of MRP/ERP systems and production control processes.• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.• Effective communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.• 100% company-paid health insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision) for employees• Life and AD&D insurance• Paid time off and 10-holiday pay• Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA)• 401k with company matching up to 4%Compensation: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
