Tax Supervisor
Location: Davenport, IA
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are partnered with a Top 10 Midwest CPA and business advisory firm experiencing steady growth and seeking a Tax Supervisor to join their Davenport team. This firm offers a collaborative, people-first culture with strong leadership and clear opportunities for advancement.
What You'll Do
Supervise and review tax returns for a diverse client base
Mentor and develop staff, including onboarding and workflow management
Prepare complex returns and technical memos
Provide detailed review feedback and strategic insights
Respond to IRS/state notices and research tax issues
Build client relationships and identify value-added opportunities
Ensure timely and accurate completion of engagements
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
5+ years of public accounting tax experience
CPA or actively pursuing preferred
Strong review, research, and technical tax skills
Leadership experience mentoring junior staff
Excellent communication and analytical abilities
