As a Senior Manager for Machine Learning at Twilio, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of conversational AI. You will leverage Twilio's extensive data ecosystem to develop innovative platform features that enable developers to create sophisticated, context-aware customer engagement applications. This hands-on role demands a blend of technical expertise and leadership as you guide a team of engineers in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to create a prioritized ML product roadmap.
- Adopt a 'player-coach' mentality to provide mentorship while contributing hands-on expertise.
- Establish a high-performing engineering environment for rapid iteration and deployment of models.
- Drive continuous improvements in processes and infrastructure for optimal performance.
- Recruit and develop a diverse team of Machine Learning Engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Applied Machine Learning or AI.
- Experience in leading ML teams and defining a multi-year technical vision.
- Deep expertise in ML/AI systems design and deployment.
- Strong background in cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
