Driver Position at Bluewater Linen

Bluewater Linen is 9 years young and business is thriving, as people return to travel. We have the latest in automation and technology in the United States, and are looking for a customer-oriented Driver.

We are seeking a Driver to join our team at Bluewater Linen, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality hospitality linens to hotel and resort partners across New Mexico. In this role, you will safely load, transport, and unload linen carts while serving as the primary on-site representative for Bluewater during deliveries. No selling is required, but exceptional customer service is essential. Your reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail ensure our customers receive the consistent, timely service that keeps their operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

• Safely load, secure, and transport linen carts to customer sites according to established routes and schedules.
• Deliver clean linens and pick up soiled linens with accuracy and care.
• Provide exceptional customer service as the primary contact for hotel and resort staff during deliveries.
• Confirm delivery quantities, obtain signatures, and accurately document delivery and pickup details.
• Communicate any customer concerns, delivery issues, or equipment needs to management.
• Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with all state, federal, and company regulations.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections (fuel, fluids, tires, lights) before and after each route.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and loading areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading at the plant as needed to support production flow.
• Follow routing, safety protocols, and customer-specific delivery instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned that support Bluewater operations.
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks up to 26 feet, safely and in accordance with all state, federal, and company regulations.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checklists and report any maintenance or safety issues in accordance with company procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service and communication skills with professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and routes efficiently.
• Safe and responsible driving habits with strong situational awareness.
• Ability to follow delivery instructions, route plans, and required documentation processes.
• Basic vehicle inspection skills (fuel, fluids, tires, lights).
• Strong teamwork and willingness to assist production as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver linen carts weighing 50+ pounds and load/unload repeatedly throughout the day.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and movement during deliveries.
• Ability to safely enter, exit, and operate large company vehicles.
• Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather, traffic, and road conditions.
• Exposure to hotel loading docks, production areas, and delivery environments requiring PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
• Valid New Mexico driver's license required; clean driving record required.
• Must be able to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for route coverage.
