Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator on behalf of our client in a Fully Remote location. This role is ideal for a proactive IT professional with experience supporting enterprise cloud environments, identity and access management, and Microsoft 365 services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining system access, administering cloud resources, supporting end users, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure secure and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

Identity & Access Management

• Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and account lifecycle processes.

• Administer user roles, permissions, group memberships, and software licenses.

• Process access requests and support password, MFA, and account recovery activities.

• Conduct access reviews and ensure adherence to security best practices.

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Administer Exchange Online, including mailbox management, distribution groups, and mail flow support.

• Manage permissions and access within SharePoint Online and OneDrive.

• Support Microsoft Teams administration and collaboration services.

• Monitor and report on Microsoft 365 licensing and usage.

Azure Administration

• Provision, configure, and support Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking services.

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) users, groups, and access controls.

• Monitor system performance, alerts, and operational health.

• Assist with troubleshooting, backup, and recovery processes.

AWS Administration

• Support and administer AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC environments.

• Manage IAM users, roles, and security policies.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure and respond to operational issues.

• Assist with backup, recovery, and system maintenance activities.

Operational & Vendor Support

• Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers on ongoing operational activities.

• Review and validate changes in accordance with established change management processes.

• Escalate system issues, risks, and service-impacting concerns when necessary.

• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.

General Systems Administration

• Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets within established service levels.

• Support software licensing, access audits, and compliance initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and operational projects.

• Provide timely and professional support to users and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure, or related roles.

• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Identity & Access Management (IAM).

• Experience supporting Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

• Knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams administration.

• Experience with user provisioning, access control, and security best practices.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or AWS certifications.

• Experience working with IT service management and ticketing systems.

• Familiarity with change management, compliance, and audit processes.

• Experience supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Previous experience coordinating with managed service providers or external vendors
