Location: Waterville, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30a-3:30p
Hourly Rate: $50- $55/RN
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description:
Focal Point Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide 1:1 care for a 16-year-old Female medically fragile student in a school setting .
This is a high-acuity case requiring hands-on clinical experience and the ability to work independently. The nurse will remain with the student throughout the school day to ensure safety, provide medical care, and support daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide continuous 1:1 care during school hours
- Perform Catheter Care
- Administer medications, including via G-tube
- Assist with ADLs and daily care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Respond to changes in condition and emergencies as needed
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state-specific)
- Catheterization Experience REQUIRED
- G-tube experience REQUIRED
- ADL Care
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work independently in a 1:1 setting
- Reliable and consistent attendance
REQUIRED Qualifications:
- Pediatric experience
- Private duty or home care background
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday 7:30a-3:30p
- School hours (no nights, no weekends)
