Medical Assistant
Immediate position available for our physician practice group in East Hills/Roslyn. Experience with Family Medicine or Primary Care a plus!
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr Work Schedule:
- 9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
- 8:00am - 4:00pm (Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical record
- Medical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy and preparation of exam rooms
- Assist at front desk as needed, answering phones, scheduling appointments, patient check in/out, insurance verification and chart preparation
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and at least 6 months MA experience
- BLS Certification
- Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- EPIC system experience a plus
