Part Time High Risk Cardiac Nurse

Role: Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, emphasizing patient and family-centered approaches. Responsibilities: Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Educates patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Supports a healing environment by providing compassionate care and advocating for patient needs. Qualifications & Skills: Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred experience in telemetry or cardiac care; prior supervisory experience is not required. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work safely and maintain alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position.
