Department Manager

Employer: Independent franchisee operating a franchise restaurant. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters. Position Overview The Department Manager role covers Guest Service, Kitchen, and People departments, leading daily operations to ensure fast, accurate, friendly service and high standards of quality, safety, and staffing. Responsibilities Lead and oversee assigned shifts, ensuring a fast, accurate, friendly customer experience. Manage specific departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People. Conduct training, maintain food safety, inventory management, and production procedures. Implement sales promotions and keep service areas organized. Hire, train, schedule, and motivate crew to meet sales and profit goals. Control food cost, quality, and safety. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for fast‑paced environments.
