Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified ICU RN with active NY licensure to provide expert critical care nursing in a fast-paced ICU setting. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality care adhering to standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive critical care treatments to ICU patients according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any deteriorating conditions.
• Document patient care activities accurately within the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Float to different units as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
• Comply with travel and facility policies, including timely completion of billable modules.

Qualifications:

• Hold a NY state RN license in hand at the time of application.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting and electronic documentation.
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Be eligible for travel based on compliance with Tier 2 travel policies.
• Be within 75 miles of the facility, with local candidates being ineligible.
