Job Purpose We are seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Wautoma, WI. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our manufacturing equipment running efficiently through proactive preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting of breakdowns, and mechanical/electrical repairs. Key Responsibilities Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment overhauls, and emergency repairs on production machinery to minimize downtime. Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilize multimeters and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. System Adjustments & Alignment: Calibrate, align, and test production equipment and components according to operational specifications. Fabrication & Repairs: Perform basic welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical repairs to support plant tooling and machine performance. Continuous Improvement: Partner with operations and engineering teams using Lean/World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles to optimize equipment reliability and safety. Documentation: Accurate tracking of preventive maintenance tasks, repair history, and work orders within our maintenance system. LI-JB1 Experience Required High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing machinery maintenance. Strong background in mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, and fluid power (hydraulics/pneumatics). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals. Demonstrated safety-first mindset and strong diagnostic problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. Prior experience with basic PLC logic troubleshooting and sensor diagnostics. Welding and metal fabrication experience in a production environment. Pay Transparency This role pays at $35.00/hour. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
