Occupational Therapist (OT)

The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehabilitation care in a skilled nursing facility setting, focusing on improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life. Responsibilities Include Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on physician referrals Assessing and adjusting goals to meet patient needs Overseeing therapy staff, including OTAs and aides Documenting progress accurately and timely Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Demonstrating excellent patient service and professionalism Ensuring safety, confidentiality, and adherence to regulations Participating in community health initiatives and maintaining current licensure and certifications Qualifications And Skills Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program NBCOT certification (renewal optional) Valid state licensure in good standing Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills Ability to make independent decisions and work effectively within a team Good body mechanics and physical ability to perform job duties New grads are encouraged to apply; experience preferred but not required Key Duties Follow treatment plans for activities of daily living Establish and evaluate patient goals Supervise therapy support staff Maintain detailed and timely documentation Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and adherence to company policies #J-18808-Ljbffr
