Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
• Support competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
• Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care at the unit level

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage intermediate-acuity patient populations
• Ability to delegate care appropriately and supervise clinical staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with monitored patient care environments
• Familiarity with resource management and supporting nursing leadership initiatives
