Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

On-call requirements: Night shifts from 7:00 PM Monday to 7:00 AM Friday, with weekend on-call of 16-hour shifts.

Job Description

We are urgently seeking a Registered Nurse for a fast-paced Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical specialties including Ortho, ENT, Plastics (minimal), General, Robotics, and Urology. This position requires proficiency in scrubbing and previous experience with robotic surgery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room environment.
• Monitor patient conditions and maintain a 1:1 patient ratio.
• Assist with surgical procedures, managing instruments and coordinating with surgical teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN Licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience required.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR.
• Candidates must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility.
