Job Description
Join a dynamic urgent care setting as a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner, providing high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients. This role involves working in the urgent care centers in Fayetteville, NC, with possible coverage in Lumberton. As a sole healthcare provider, you'll handle a high volume of cases, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care while utilizing your experience and EPIC proficiency.
Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
- Setting: Urgent Care Center
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric (6 months and up)
- Location: Fayetteville, NC
- Stipends: Limited mileage reimbursement available (60 miles total/roundtrip)
- Weekly direct deposit
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- Supportive credentialing assistance
- Flexible scheduling
- Provide urgent care services to both adult and pediatric patients
- Perform minor procedures like laceration repairs and ear irrigation
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient charting and documentation
- Maintain a positive, patient-focused attitude and collaborate effectively with support staff
- Must have at least 12 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a similar setting
- Active NC license and active NC DEA are required
- Board Certification and BLS certification required
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with no call requirements
- Must participate in mandatory Wednesday training sessions
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of patient encounters professionally
- Competency in handling both adult and pediatric cases independently
- Strong soft skills to foster positive interactions with patients and staff
