Responsibilities Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process Represent clients in court proceedings as needed Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action High-net-worth divorce experience (business interests, real property portfolios, trusts/complex financials) Experience working with public figures / privacy-sensitive clients Trial experience or meaningful evidentiary hearing track record Ability to support firm growth through process improvement and team development Qualifications Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required Active California Bar license in good standing 5+ years California family law experience (high-asset + contested custody required) Demonstrated litigation experience (contested hearings, strong motion practice; trial experience preferred) Strong legal writing skills (declarations and persuasive narrative building are essential) High emotional intelligence, strong boundaries, and professionalism under pressure Organized and accountable in a remote environment Compensation Compensation: $110,000-$220,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
