The resort emphasizes teamwork, mutual support, and exceptional guest experiences. What does a Housekeeping Manager do? As a Housekeeping Manager, you’ll start each day inspecting guest rooms and public areas to maintain high cleanliness standards. You'll collaborate with your team, assign tasks, ensure supplies are stocked, and train new staff on proper housekeeping techniques. Your schedule is flexible, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, making the role ideal for those who enjoy a dynamic environment. You’ll also interact with guests, address their needs and feedback, and strive to provide the best experience possible. To thrive, you need strong leadership, exceptional organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in hotel property management systems such as Opera PMS and housekeeping software like HotSOS is essential. You’ll also manage budgeting, scheduling, payroll, inventory control, and ordering. Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical safety ensures a safe environment. Knowledge of hospitality service standards elevates guest experiences, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) aids reporting and communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, and bilingual Spanish/English is preferred. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Strong leadership Organizational and problem-solving skills Proficiency with hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera PMS) and housekeeping software (e.g., HotSOS) Budgeting Scheduling and payroll management Inventory control and ordering Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical safety Understanding of hospitality service standards and guest satisfaction Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Excellent verbal and written communication Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Join us!
