Job Description We have an immediate full-time opening for a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at our long-established and highly-regarded private mental health therapy practice. Seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, Florida-licensed independent contractor to provide in-person psychotherapy services for patients at our Port Charlotte location.. We serve seniors, adults, adolescents, children, couples and families. We specialize in treating patients with depression, anxiety, stress management, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss. Your clinical expertise is valued and we empower you to make informed, evidence-based decisions about treatment approaches. Responsibilities Perform in-person psychological/psychosocial assessments, testing, and evaluation Provide diagnosis based on assessments, testing, and evaluation Develop and recommend treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnosis Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or treatment Collaborate with staff, and other professionals to provide the best therapy care possible in-office Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner Ensure all services are completed according to relevant ethical and professional standards of care Fully licensed by the State of Florida to provide therapy independently and without supervision Credentialed with Medicare and other major health insurers (assistance provided) All billing handled by practice Qualifications Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in State of Florida Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology degree or Professional Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) degree Master of Social Work (MSW) or Doctorate of Social Work degree Ability to pass a thorough background check Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations Strong working knowledge of diagnostic techniques and a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong familiarity with assessment techniques Demonstrated ability to operate within ethical and professional standards of care #J-18808-Ljbffr
