Healthcare AccountantA growing healthcare organization is seeking a Healthcare Accountant to help transition outsourced accounting functions in-house and build scalable financial infrastructure to support continued growth across multiple nursing home facilities. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and shape the company's internal accounting operations.Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for multiple nursing home facilities.Develop and implement accounting processes, systems, and financial reporting infrastructure.Create detailed financial reports to track revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost drivers.Partner with executive leadership and third-party billing providers to ensure accurate financial reporting and support organizational growth.Skills:Strong financial reporting, accounting, and analytical skills.Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems with the ability to improve financial processes.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing healthcare environment.Requirements:2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or nursing home settings.Nursing home accounting experience strongly preferred; Apex experience is a plus.CPA preferred but not required.Located in or willing to commute to Brooklyn, NY (preferred) or Lakewood, NJ.Location: Brooklyn, NY | Hours: Full-time. | Salary: $200-250k |
