Located inside voco | The Clair Cincinnati Downtown , Pennyflower Bistro & Bar is a locally inspired restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails, and coffee in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. We are committed to delivering outstanding food, genuine hospitality, and memorable guest experiences in a welcoming, team-focused environment.

$10 hourly

• Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations
• Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
• Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
• Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities

• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
