JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:6Shift: 12HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15Charge role is preferred for night travelers. 13-26 weeks accepted***RTO: 7 days MAX For AYA AUTO OFFER***;Call Requirement: Call required if put on call prescheduled shift.Float Requirement: Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding.Weekend Requirement: Traveler will be assigned to every other weekend*Must be able to work holidays*possibly of taking care of COVID patients.*Traveler will be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team.** Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. No PCU level patients on this unit.UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS EPIC, SBARSCHEDULING TYPE: Per Unit Needs + Preferences relayed to management*Must be able to work holidays*possibly of taking care of COVID patients.*Traveler will be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team.UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hrs.SCRUBS: Not Provided. Navy*** INTERNAL NOTES ***Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty*Must be able to work holidays*possibly of taking care of COVID patients.*Traveler will be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team.**All travelers and staff are required to attend the unit team meetings. Meeting invitations will be distributed and added to their work calendars accordingly.Meetings are scheduled for the 4th Wednesday of each month from January through October at 1730. In November and December, meetings will instead be held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1730.Additional meetings for night shift staff will be conducted at 0730 on the Friday immediately following the Wednesday meetings.

Special Equipment: - #Tier2 Crisis Response Compliance Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within 48 hours. Submission Process: All units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review Submission Details: Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed. Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission. Local candidates ( 50 miles): Lower rate applies. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing. NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal. Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description. Travel pairs: Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed). Charting: See job description. References can be pending at submission. Modules: Pre-start modules are non-billable, time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours. Acute Care: ~8-10 hours of modules Non-Acute: ~4-5 hours of modules Must be completed pre-start and annually (varies by specialty) Conducted online - must use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser
