Responsibilities
- Operate spray dryers and other production equipment safely and efficiently
- Work with HMI screens to enter recipes and adjust machine settings and speeds
- Start up and shut down dryer equipment according to production requirements
- Perform Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures on dryer equipment
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
- Achieve production goals by working collaboratively with team members
- Communicate and involve support teams when production issues arise
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Machine Operator experience
- Experience operating spray dryers or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
- Ability to work with HMI screens and enter production recipes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift between 5 and 50 pounds
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Availability to work 1st or 2nd shift
