Job Overview A law firm seeks a Licensing Attorney with 2-6 years of experience to join its Fintech and Financial Advisory practice in Washington, DC. The role involves providing legal support for a high-volume nationwide licensing practice, focusing on state and federally regulated financial services companies. Responsibilities Assist clients with all stages of the licensing life cycle. Conduct comprehensive multistate legal reviews. Draft and compile state filings for license applications. Advise on compliance obligations for regulated entities. Engage in regulatory, compliance, corporate, and transactional work. Requirements Juris Doctor and State Bar membership. 2-6 years of legal experience in licensing matters. Familiarity with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS). Experience reviewing and analyzing state statutes and regulations. Knowledge of federal consumer finance laws. Strong communication and interactive skills.
