Number of Beds: 29 beds (with overflow capabilities for a total of 39) Staffing Levels: Charge nurse, 8 RNs, and ACT on duty Patient Ratios: 5:1 Type of Equipment: Remote telemetry Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Qualifications We are seeking dynamic and dedicated candidates to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess the following: Must Have: Minimum of 1-year current Med/Surg RN acute care experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Prior experience with Meditech EMR Typical Procedures The unit typically cares for: Post-operative surgical patients Patients on cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin Work Environment This is a high-energy unit seeking enthusiastic individuals who are committed to teamwork and continuous improvement.
