Position Summary:
Responsible for answering customer inquiries and completing transaction requests received through the Interactive Teller Machine. This position is responsible for performing Teller transactions for existing customers in a professional, courteous, and timely manner according to bank procedures. This position requires extensive customer interaction, and a broad knowledge of all bank products and general operations. Provides exceptional customer service in response to customer needs and requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer transactions through the Interactive Teller Machine, such as, cashing checks, handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and transfers
- Provide information on balance inquiries and answer any transactional questions regarding current deposit and loan products
- Manage and resolve all customer requests for updates, inquiries or other issues
- Provide quality customer service through knowledge of all bank products and services
- Handle high volume of customer transactions in a sometimes stressful, time sensitive environment
- Compliance with all branch policies and procedures
- All other job duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Position requires dedication to customer service by responding in a professional manner to customer questions and concerns
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and interactions with customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of appropriate government regulations, bank products and bank operations
Skills
- Must have excellent communication and listening skills and a strong commitment to providing quality service and attention to detail
- Must be able to work effectively in both a team and independent environment
Work Environment
- Primarily office or branch-based environment with standard business hours. Occasional travel to other branch locations or community events may be required
- Daily extended use of banking software, secure digital platforms, and standard office equipment
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
- Moderate business traveling
