Position Summary:

Responsible for answering customer inquiries and completing transaction requests received through the Interactive Teller Machine. This position is responsible for performing Teller transactions for existing customers in a professional, courteous, and timely manner according to bank procedures. This position requires extensive customer interaction, and a broad knowledge of all bank products and general operations. Provides exceptional customer service in response to customer needs and requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing customer transactions through the Interactive Teller Machine, such as, cashing checks, handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and transfers
• Provide information on balance inquiries and answer any transactional questions regarding current deposit and loan products
• Manage and resolve all customer requests for updates, inquiries or other issues
• Provide quality customer service through knowledge of all bank products and services
• Handle high volume of customer transactions in a sometimes stressful, time sensitive environment
• Compliance with all branch policies and procedures
• All other job duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Position requires dedication to customer service by responding in a professional manner to customer questions and concerns
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and interactions with customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of appropriate government regulations, bank products and bank operations

Skills

• Must have excellent communication and listening skills and a strong commitment to providing quality service and attention to detail
• Must be able to work effectively in both a team and independent environment

Work Environment

• Primarily office or branch-based environment with standard business hours. Occasional travel to other branch locations or community events may be required
• Daily extended use of banking software, secure digital platforms, and standard office equipment
• Repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
• Moderate business traveling
