A pharmacy professional opportunity is available for a travel pharmacist in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This role supports a small 50-bed hospital, offering a focused and impactful environment for patient care. The assignment begins ASAP and extends for 13 weeks or more, featuring a consistent schedule of five 8-hour day shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize pharmacokinetics knowledge to tailor patient-specific dosing
• Operate Cerner electronic medical records and Omnicell automation systems

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in Michigan is required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred for familiarity with clinical workflows
• Comfortable working in a rural, far Northern Michigan setting
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and team dynamics
