TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Puyallup, Washington.

Job Description & Requirements

Clinical Interview - Unit manager needs to approve first time travelers.

UNIT: PCU Nursing Float Pool

Exp Req: MUST have 2 years of true PCU exp. to submit or file will be declined, just floating to PCU does NOT count towards PCU exp. - must be in an actual PCU unit. Will mostly work in ED Holding. Will NOT consider anything less than 13 weeks here per unit manager. EPIC IS REQUIRED! Must have drip exp. including Nitro drips, dopamine & dobutamine drips.

Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Skills Req: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, Chest tubes, lumbar drains, traches, IV med titration (Amiodarone, dopamine, dobutamine, insulin, heparin)

Patient Types: PCU: 40 beds: 2R Obs 18 beds
Respiratory compromise, Sepsis, renal failure, bleeding disorders, general medical/surgical patients, CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, General, ortho cases.

Floating: Could float for partial shifts. Will float within scope of practice and below
