As a Resort Ops Supervisor at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, you will work in both Food & Beverage and the Rooms Division providing managerial support in addition to training and leadership for the restaurant & rooms operations as needed. What you will be doing: Execute restaurant operations including food and beverage promotions, customer service, and inventories. Lead the Front of the House staff in training on restaurant standards, wine service, and customer service. Perform Front Desk responsibilities: greeting guests, processing transactions, answering the telephone, handling reservations, and managing cash and credit card transactions. Maintain a working knowledge of the property management system (Opera) and point-of-sale systems (Micros). Monitor outlet service staff performance and supervise duties such as delegation, scheduling, coaching, evaluating, interviewing, training, and mentoring. Address and resolve guest and associate confrontation while following/enforcing Grand Geneva policies. Prepare daily forecasts and ensure compliance with State, Federal, and corporate liquor regulations. Oversee front desk safety, security, and appearance, reporting injuries, accidents, or problems as necessary. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to assess room status. Maintain accurate cash control, keep the drawer minimal, and ensure all funds are accounted for and deposited per policy. Perform other duties as assigned. What we are looking for: Previous supervisory and hotel, customer service, front desk, or administrative experience preferred. Passionate about hospitality and customer-driven. Ability to maintain composure and remain pleasant under high-pressure situations. Ability to work independently, exhibit sound judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Bartender’s certificate required; must be at least 18 years old to serve or pour alcohol. Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
