Captain

Casa Cruz New York is seeking an experienced Server Captain to join our fine dining team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end, fast-paced hospitality environment, with proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the service team on the floor, ensuring smooth operations and consistency with Casa Cruz standards.
• Provide refined, attentive, and professional service to guests, anticipating needs and creating memorable dining experiences.
• Support and guide servers and assistants, maintaining strong communication and teamwork throughout service.
• Coordinate with management, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure seamless execution of service.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, wine list, cocktails, and daily specials to confidently guide guests.
• Ensure table settings, partner relations, and dining room standards are upheld at all times.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues with grace, professionalism, and discretion.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of fine dining experience as Captain, Lead Server, or similar position.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Professional appearance and confident presence on the floor.
• Excellent knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Work ethic & high level of integrity.
