Job Summary:
The Spokane, Washington-based Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) position requires candidates with at least two years of experience in sterile processing. This role involves working in a Short Term Acute Care facility that is a Level III Trauma Center. The selected professional will be responsible for reprocessing medical scopes and surgical instruments, adhering to aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols. Candidates must bring their valid Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Spokane, Washington
• Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays
• Hours: 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State or Compact RN license, valid Allied license, at least 2 years of sterile processing experience, certifications such as CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA, HSPA, or CBSPD, and travel experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, experience in acute hospital environments, trauma level I or II experience, and some community hospital experience
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities; refusal to float may result in contract termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. All all required documentation including RTO (requested time off) and references must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered or granted. A maximum of one job per submittal is permitted.
