RN Endoscopy

Job Summary:

The Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering safe nursing care in the Endoscopy department. This role requires expertise in Endoscopy procedures including pre/post care and scrub/tech functions. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and maintain safety standards. Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after endoscopy procedures.
• Assist with scrub and tech duties related to Endoscopy procedures.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
• Participate in on-call rotations including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Colorado or ability to obtain.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Endoscopy.
• Experience with Endoscopy pre/post care and scrub/tech procedures.
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in both Endoscopy pre/post care and scrub/tech roles.

Special Considerations:

• Participation in rotating call schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends is required.
• Must comply with mandatory flu vaccination policy.
• Potential housing available with furnished apartments near the hospital for travelers.

Scheduling:

• Work schedule consists of 4-10 hour day shifts.
• Rotating evening, night, and weekend call shifts are required.
