Exciting Opportunity for an ICU RN!

Job Description:
- Location: Nashville, TN
- Unit: NVICU
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios:
- 2:1
- Occasionally 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing
- Unit Staffing Description:
- Unit secretary staffed during dayshift
- Occasional nurse extern working as a tech
- Type of Equipment:
- Ventilators
- EVDs
- CRRT
- SLED
- EV 1000
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements:
- Minimum weekend requirement of 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Schedule is done in 4-week increments
- Self-scheduling with some managerial adjustments
- Floating Policy:
- Contract labor is first to float
- Expected to float to med/surg if staffing needs arise
- Patient Experience Requirements:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members
- Certifications Required:
- Active RN license
- ACLS
- BLS
- Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:
- ICU experience
- Advanced skills such as:
- Insertion of central lines
- Arterial lines
- Lumbar punctures
- Chest tube insertions
- EVD insertions
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms)
- Awards/Recognition:
- Outstanding department/team awards
