Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Location: Elko, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health to join our team. This role focuses on providing quality care to adults in a behavioral health setting, ensuring their safety and well-being while facilitating mental health support and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient behavioral health nursing care to adult patients.
Monitor patient behavior and mental state, assisting in the development of treatment plans.
Administer medications and document vital signs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Engage in therapeutic communication with patients to support their mental health journey.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active RN license in the state of Nevada.
BLS certification is required.
ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within designated time frames after start date.
Minimum of one year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience.
Handle with Care certification preferred.
