Job Details

• Position: Radiology Technologist

• Weekly Pay: $2700 to $2900

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Assist physicians and radiologists during imaging procedures as needed
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance concerns promptly
• Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and answer questions
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention and patient safety guidelines

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License required
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Radiology Technologist experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging procedures and radiation safety practices
• Experience with digital radiography and PACS systems preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care
