This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist experienced in mail order and retail pharmacy settings, ready to deliver high-quality patient care and medication management. The role is designed for those who excel in clinical review and patient communication, with a focus on improving health outcomes through education and precise medication use.
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education via phone, addressing inquiries about new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and correct medication use.
- Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions to ensure therapeutic appropriateness, identify drug interactions, contraindications, and confirm accurate dosing.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to promote medication adherence and optimize therapy outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Possess a clear and active pharmacist license in the state of Idaho, or willingness to obtain Idaho licensure.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills necessary for effective patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Experience in mail order and retail pharmacy environments preferred.
