PorterThe role of Porter is critical to the success of Sloomoo. The porters will work under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor and in collaboration with the Managers on Duty, and assist with the physical upkeep and maintenance of the facility. The ideal candidate is a highly capable and dedicated team member who is able to fulfill basic building and attraction maintenance work as well as maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. Porters keep the venue and production areas clean, safe, and in mint condition.You will be key to upholding Sloomoo's values:Joy – Joy is our DNA. We obsess over the details that make greatness.Responsibilities:Cleaning & Facility UpkeepSweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors across all areas of the facilityClean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, work areas, windows, and mirrorsMaintain cleanliness and organization of all guest-facing and back-of-house spacesClean, sanitize, and fully stock restrooms throughout shiftsRemove trash and recycling regularly and maintain waste areasKeep janitorial closets clean, organized, and properly stockedLight Maintenance & RepairsComplete minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and tightening fixturesPerform basic painting and touch-ups to maintain the appearance of walls, benches, and surfacesAssist with small patchwork, caulking, and general upkeep projects as neededIdentify maintenance issues and notify the Porter Lead of larger repair needsOutdoor & General Maintenance (as applicable)Handle seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and snow clearingMaintain exterior areas, including litter removal and general upkeepSupport basic groundskeeping tasks, such as watering plants if applicableOperations & SupportFollow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance checklistsComplete end-of-shift reports and ensure all assigned tasks are finishedLock and secure the facility at the end of night shifts when scheduledSafety & ComplianceFollow all safety procedures and the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipmentOperate standard cleaning tools and basic power equipment safelyAdhere to all company policies and operational standardsOther duties as assigned by managementQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.1-2 Experience as porter in hospitality, restaurant or other relevant industry.Must be flexible to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Minimum age: 18 years.Inclusivity Commitment:Sloomoo Inc. is a company that respects and welcomes the uniqueness of each employee and offers everyone the means to find their place and thrive.
