The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in supporting pharmacists by preparing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate prescription processing. This position involves direct interaction with customers, maintaining records, and adhering to regulatory standards to promote safe and efficient pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications accurately according to prescriptions
• Manage inventory to ensure stock availability
• Process prescriptions efficiently and accurately
• Interact with customers to provide assistance and information
• Maintain accurate records of medication and transactions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines
• Support pharmacists in dispensing medications
• Perform sterilization procedures to uphold hygiene standards
• Verify orders for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate with insurance providers for prescription claims

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in pharmacy operations
