Job Description

The Registered Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a collaborative healthcare team. This position involves working primarily on day shifts, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring comprehensive care through patient assessment, monitoring, and education. The role demands effective communication, critical thinking, and meticulous documentation to support patient health outcomes and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and support daily health needs
Administer medications accurately and safely
Monitor vital signs and conduct thorough patient assessments
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Document patient conditions, treatments, and outcomes comprehensively
Educate patients and families on health management and procedures
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care
Supervise nursing assistants and delegate tasks effectively

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
Proficient in patient care and medical documentation
Skilled in vital signs monitoring and medication administration
Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
