This newly remodeled 25 private bed unit is committed to delivering the best high quality compassionate care. On the Medical Stroke Unit we use a multidisciplinary team approach consisting of nurses physicians patient care assistants case managers and secretarial support staff. Our care team specializes in the care of acutely ill medical/surgical patients with a primary focus on patients effected by strokes.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN) Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
