Sirna & Sons Produce, a fourth-generation family-run wholesale food distributor and a FreshEdge LLC company, is currently hiring CDL local drivers in Ravenna, OH. Our distribution network covers Ohio, Central Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia, providing fresh produce, dairy, and specialty items six days a week to various establishments such as restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools, and institutions. Compensation:

• Starting Hourly Pay: CDL $25-$30/hr. depending on experience
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Schedule & Route:

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: 4-5 nights (Sunday night – Friday night)
• Shift: Typically, 6–8-hour shifts with start times varying typically between 9:00pm - 10:00 pm (until work is done). 1-2 loads per night.
• Route: Deliver from Ravenna, Ohio, to Norwalk, Ohio, and back
• Level of Touch: May need to help unload at facility with pallet jack
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs with no assistance
  • Be able to use a 2-wheel dolly or hand jack

Equipment:

• Freightliner Cascadia, Freightliner M2 Trucks, International MV607

Qualifications:

• At least 1-year successful experience preferred, driving a Class A CDL tractor or higher as required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• DUI/DWI is eligible if over 5 years ago
• Possess a valid Class A License
• Carrier Safety Administration knowledge
• DOT physical examination and Pre-Employment Drug Test
• Speak and write English satisfactorily
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and proven safe PSP score
• Organized and attention-to-detail approach
• Safety-oriented mindset with a commitment to following all safety procedures
• Drivers must live within a 40-mile radius of Ravenna, OH, or be willing to relocate for a position
