Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Cleveland, Ohio Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: November 13, 2026 End Date: February 12, 2027 Schedule: 36 hours per week; three 12-hour shifts Shift: Rotating days and nights, typically 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Scheduling Note: Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs. Travelers should be available to work at least every other holiday. Orientation: 16 hours Employment Type: Travel nursing contract Med/Surg Tele RN Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or an active compact-state license, held at the time of submission At least 1 year of recent permanent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification Current ACLS certification Current NIHSS certification Strong telemetry knowledge and ECG rhythm recognition skills Active, in-hand certifications; pending certifications are not accepted One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty Successful completion of required background, compliance, and credentialing processes Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and promptly escalate concerns Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and evaluate patient responses to treatment Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Float to comparable medical-surgical, telemetry, or emergency department units when needed to care for patients with similar acuity and clinical needs Support unit operations through effective prioritization, teamwork, and safe handoffs Apply now for this Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse travel contract in Cleveland, Ohio, and take the next step in your travel nursing career.
