About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Ambulatory Officer (CAO) to lead the strategic direction, operational performance, and growth of its extensive ambulatory system. The successful candidate will be responsible for executive oversight of a large and complex academic ambulatory enterprise, with a focus on integrating and expanding the network across academic and community care settings. This role involves shaping a seamless statewide care delivery model, strengthening connectivity, and ensuring the system is positioned for continued growth and impact. The CAO will also be tasked with leading initiatives to expand patient access, optimize care delivery, and enhance the overall patient experience. Candidates for the CAO position at the company should have a proven track record in leading large, complex physician practice and outpatient networks, with a minimum of 10 years' executive leadership experience in a relevant setting. The role requires a leader with strong business and financial acumen, experience in physician practice management, and a deep understanding of healthcare delivery trends, particularly those affecting ambulatory care. The ideal candidate will be a transformational leader, adept at building strong physician partnerships, and will have a history of driving operational excellence, performance improvement, and growth. A Master's degree in a related field is mandatory, and the candidate should be a trusted, collaborative, and mission-driven leader with exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
