Part Time Maintenance TechnicianPart Time Maintenance Technician Schedule is: 4 hours per day - 10:00am to 2:00pmScope:Job Description:We are seeking a reliable candidate with the following qualifications and responsibilities:Qualifications:Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Able to work independently and assist in various tasks as needed.Comfortable with heights.Responsibilities:Wash and clean equipment and vehicles.Perform general painting and cleaning of buildings.Make mail runs and handle lunch pickups.Run errands as required.Collect scrap parts from different areas of the building and manage their disposal.Lift and carry items weighing 40–50 lbs.Physical Demands and AbilitiesAble to lift up to 40- 50 poundsRegularly performs repetitive tasksRegularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accuratelySpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusEducation and ExperienceHigh School w/1 + years' experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/0-1 years' experienceAll Employees Shall:Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirementsReport to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazardsAttend scheduled EH&S training programActively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plansRecommend improved EH&S practicesThe incumbent is responsible for complying with the policies in Whelen's "Employee Handbook".
