As a Security Officer Screening Intake in Jeffersonville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic technology location, where you will help monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, report security-related concerns, and contribute to daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the location, following access procedures and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Verify identification, credentials, and/or visitor information while maintaining accurate logs and clear communication with site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access or other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
