Direct Hire | $63,000 - $65,000 Annual Salary

A growing and established distribution-focused organization is seeking a Credit & Collections Manager to oversee all aspects of the credit and collections function. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys building customer relationships, managing credit risk, and driving cash flow performance while partnering closely with operations, sales, and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all credit and collections activities for the organization
• Review and approve new customer accounts, credit limits, and payment terms
• Evaluate existing customer accounts and recommend adjustments to credit exposure as needed
• Monitor and review credit holds, making timely decisions regarding order releases
• Oversee collection efforts to ensure receivables are collected within established payment terms
• Maintain credit-related records and reporting, including commercial credit references and ratings
• Process and oversee credit card transactions and payments
• Resolve customer account issues and discrepancies professionally and efficiently
• Partner with internal departments to support customer satisfaction while minimizing financial risk
• Monitor aging reports and proactively address delinquent accounts

Qualifications

• 5+ years of credit and collections experience
• Prior experience managing the full credit review and collections process
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, credit analysis, and cash application practices
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with customers and internal stakeholders
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• Industry experience is a plus
