Hours: 9a-5p, M-FPosition Summary:Provides clinical leadership to the occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy and other related clinicalservice teams. Ensures the delivery of high quality, evidence based services that are integrated into the individual'sprogramming. The Clinical Director provides direction and support to clinical and program leaders, as well asclinicians, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, and establishes consistent clinical practices and standardsacross programs. Responsibilities Provide strategic and clinical leadership for related services across programs and service settings.2Establish and maintain standards of clinical practice that promote high-quality, ethical, evidence-based,and person-centered services.Provide oversight and direction to clinical leaders and related service professionals, supporting effectivesupervision, performance, and professional growth.Promote interdisciplinary collaboration among related services, behavioral health, education, directsupport, medical, and other service teams.Ensure clinical services are integrated into individualized plans and daily programming across thecontinuum of care.Develop and implement clinical systems, protocols, policies and processes that support consistent,effective, and regulatory compliant service delivery across programs.Monitor clinical quality and outcomes through data, documentation, audits, and other performancemeasures, identifying opportunities for improvement.Support compliance with applicable regulatory, licensing, accreditation, and professional standardsrelated to clinical service delivery.Identify and advance opportunities for clinical innovation, including new practices, technologies, servicemodels, and approaches that improve outcomes.Lead and support professional development initiatives that strengthen clinical competencies and promoteongoing learning across disciplines.Partner with program and operational leaders to ensure clinical services are aligned with organizationalpriorities, resources, and the needs of the individuals served.Evaluate service delivery models and staffing needs to ensure appropriate clinical capacity, resources, andexpertise across programs.Serve as a clinical resource and consultant for complex cases, program development, risk management,and problem-solving across the organization.Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous quality improvement that advancespositive outcomes and enhances the overall quality of servicesDirects and oversees the clinical operations and activities, and consults with operational leaders to ensurea therapeutic environment of the Program site:a. Follows established Bancroft policies and procedures, and maintains compliance with theregulations for their department, such as Department of Education (DOE), Division ofDevelopmental Disabilities (DDD), Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), DDDSupported Employment/Day Program (SE/DP) Manual standards (if applicable), Department ofLabor (DOL) regulations (if applicable), Department of Human Services 1047 regulations (ifapplicable), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards (ifapplicable), and other applicable state/local/federal regulations at all times:Participates in the development and ongoing oversight of the annual financial operating budget, andmonitors expenses related to the provision of clinical care. Ensures clinical services operate within theestablished fiscal budgetParticipates in the screening process of prospective admissions to determine the ability of the program tomeet individual needs. Participates in the admission process for direct areas of responsibility. Ensureseffective transitioning to and from the programWillingly and effectively cooperates with Bancroft, Department of Education (DOE)), and other licensing orstate agencies or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon requestActively participates in the development and implementation of performance improvement systems, riskmanagement systems, for assigned Program sites to ensure quality care. Responsible for the developmentand monitoring of Outcome Measurement Systems to track quality of life and effectiveness of person-centered planningMaintains effective communications with individuals, parents, guardians, other family members,healthcare personnel, colleagues, own manager and coworkers across Programs and functions, neighbors,surrounding communities, etc. Operates in accordance with the Confirmation of Understanding or Plan ofCare for each individual regarding programs and treatment, healthcare, religious and sexual preferences (ifapplicable), ethnic and cultural support, recreational and socialization activities, physical fitness andhealthy living, family visits and involvement, and disagreements and grievances within areas ofresponsibilityOversees the overall integrity of individual and/or medical records and files for individuals within areas ofresponsibility; i.e., files are complete, accurate, and up-to-date, for timely review by internal and externalauditors, insurance companies, etc.Ensures adherence to state-approved emergency procedures and Bancroft-approved crisis interventiontechniques for each individual in assigned Program sitesServes as a role model to individuals by projecting a positive self-image of professionalism, appearance,courtesy, conduct, confidentiality, honesty, fairness, personal integrity, and a respect for the fundamentalrights, dignity, and privacy of othersPerforms other related management and oversight duties as assigned or as necessary.
