Job Description Job Description Full-time (our main office hours are 7-4 pm) Pay: $24/hr. Submittal Drafter Job Overview: We are seeking an entry level Submittal’s Drafter to join our team. As a Submittal’s Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed submittal packets using multiple software including computer-aided design (CAD) software, Microsoft Excel, and others. Your knowledge of how to accurately read architectural drawings will aid in your ability to produce accurate and high-quality submittal drawings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to): Create detailed elevation drawings based on architectural plans. Ability to read architectural plans is REQUIRED. Utilize AutoCAD to develop 2D elevations and details. Collaborate with the clients to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the submittals packet. Incorporate product knowledge into drawings to ensure functionality and adherence to company standards. Apply dimensioning principles to ensure proper function of product. Review and revise drawing as necessary based on feedback from clients. Generate spreadsheet for door frame system incorporating info for each opening within the project. Collaborate with the other team members to meet project standards and deadlines. Maintain organized files and documentation of drawing, excel, and any other info relating to the project. Qualifications Ability to read and navigate architectural drawings (REQUIRED) Basic to Intermediate Knowledge of AutoCAD (REQUIRED) Basic to intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (REQUIRED) Demonstrates self-motivation, maturity, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates a willingness to learn and adapt to an ever-changing industry. Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing Strong working knowledge of basic office equipment Highly organized Preferably, six months to one year or more of related work experience Education Level High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) minimum Benefits: Offered once temp agency hours have been met, and they are hired on as Frameworks employee (quarterly/yearend bonuses, insurance, vacation, holiday pay) A little bit about Frameworks: We are a family-owned business that has been around 30 years.
