Qualifications/Experience:
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational or healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with implementing prescribed therapeutic activities and documenting student progress
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and families
- Organizational skills and reliability in meeting deadlines and managing caseload requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in the preparation and adaptation of materials for therapy sessions
- Monitor, record, and report student responses and progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure consistent communication strategies within the classroom
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
