This position serves 1st through 5th graders and is ideal for a dedicated OT looking to make a genuine difference in student development. With a steady Monday to Friday schedule—37.5 hours per week—you’ll be a key partner in helping children achieve important milestones in their learning and daily lives.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Maine Occupational Therapy license required
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary age groups
• Familiarity with providing OT services in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in grades 1–5
• Assess student needs and document progress towards therapy goals
• Work closely with special education staff and classroom teachers to support student participation and success
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student progress
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide clear recommendations for student programming
• Utilize creativity and problem-solving skills to adapt interventions as needed
