Assembler Technology | Manufacturing Mission The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Responsibilities Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures. Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. Create labor records for all transactions. Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement. Experience & Exposures Technology or Manufacturing Center Production Workflow Production Assembly 2 Years Electro-mechanical assembler experience Minimum High School degree, Higher technical education preferred IPC 610 or IPC 620 is a plus but not required Key Skills/Abilities Mechanically inclined individual Able to use mechanical and electric test equipment such as meters, microscope, torque wrenches, filler gages, etc. Soldering capabilities on cabling, thru hole and surface mount technologies. Able to work with high precision small parts Able to follow procedures and processes is a must Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Good communication skills is a must Must possess the ability to multi-task SLB is committed to a culture where everyone feels like they belong.
